“There are many reasons why Portuguese wines have such an irresistible and unique charm. Interestingly enough the country has over more than 250 indigenous grapes that present a wide spectrum of thrillingly different flavors. In addition, the Portuguese wine makers are arguably the ‘master’ of using blending technique in the world. They have developed different blending formulas which have been finetuned for centuries,” said Jorge Monteiro, President of ViniPortugal.

“With its unique grapes and centuries of profound experience in wine making know-how, the wines of Portuguese have already established a strong foothold in the global market and savored by connoisseurs around the world. Portuguese wines are among the best in the world and that’s why so many international prizes are given each year to Portuguese wines,” he added.

“Portuguese wines are a hidden gem that may not be aware by many Chinese wine lovers yet. But once you know more about them, you surely will have a crush on them,” said Denis LIN.
